(1) Subject to subregulation (2), liability for the registration of a motor vehicle arises - (a) in the case of a motor vehicle to be registered for the first time in Namibia - (iv) if the motor vehicle was imported by an importer on or after a date determined by the Minister by notice in the Gazette, on the date of arrival of that vehicle in Namibia or on the date on which that motor vehicle is cleared in terms of customs and excise legislation, if applicable; |
