| Description: 3. (1) An importer who wishes to import goods set out in Class C in Annexure 1, whether new or used, must import such goods in accordance with the Safety Standards for handling of Refrigeration and Air Conditions set out by the Namibia Standards Institution. (2) Subject to paragraph 1, an importer who imports all other refrigerant gases and cooling appliances that are not prohibited for import must produce an import permit - (a) at the point of entry for statistical and control purposes; or (b) when requested by customs and excise officer, an ozone depleting substances officer or by any authorised official. |
