Summary:

(ii) at the option of the importer to be removed from the Union within a
specified period; or

(b) permit the removal thereof from the port or place of entry subject to such
conditions as he may determine.
Description:

16. (1) Any officer of the Department of Customs and Excise authorized thereto by
the Secretary for Customs and Excise may detain any quantity of farming requisites landed at or
imported through any port or place in the Republic, and may take samples thereof.

(4) If an examination, analysis or test of such samples shows that any such farming
requisite does not comply with the requirements of this Act, the Minister may -
