| Description: 1. A leasehold document or Title deed and a prove of ownership/contractual agreement/ Consent from TA (communal area)/MAWLR (resettlement farms) 2. An Identity document of the owner or both for owner and leaser 3. Farm and Environmental management plan or Forest management plan 4. EIA or Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) when harvesting or clearing for big size areas or using mechanised technology 5. Forest Inventory report/ wood (resource) assessment (determine the Allowable harvest) 6. CITIES permit (CITIES species only) 7. FSC certificate to access the EU market/FSC countries 8. No protected trees species harvested, unless authorised by director or minister 9. Tree size harvested for charcoal production is less than 18cm and below the angel height, and for the timber should be greater than 45cm at Diameter Breast Height (DBH). 10. Trees for pole production is between 15-30cm at DBH |
