Procedure for Importation of Poultry Products

| Description: (1) A person who wishes to import Poultry Products will be required to enter the Poultry Scheme by applying manually to the Ministry and attach the following documents: a) Company registration b) Good Standing Certificate from Namibia Revenue Agency c) Good Standing Certificate from Social Security Commission d) National Identification Document (2) If the trader's application is approved in the Poultry Scheme you will be required to apply for a quota on the Import Export (IMEX) system https://imex.mit.gov.na/imex-web/pages/login.php (3) After approval of the quota the trader will be required to apply for an import permit on the IMEX system and attach a health certificate from the Directorate of Veterinary Services at the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform |
