| Description: Animal health Act 1 of 2011 - Section 9 A person who proposes to import any animal, animal product or restricted material for entry into Namibia or for conveyance in transit through Namibia must – (a) give prior notice in the prescribed manner to the Chief Veterinary Officer of the importation arrangements; and (b) before the animal, animal product or restricted material enters Namibia, obtain a health certificate from a competent authority of the country from where it is exported. |
